Powder Technologies Inc., a provider of powder and liquid processing systems and related engineering services, recently announced the availability of its new G-308 Centrifugal Sifter.

Designed for throughputs up to 1,000 pounds per hour, the sifter features a compact design ideal for low throughput separation of dry particles, company officials say. It also features a hinged and interlocked side door, quick removal screen, fully-welded, semi-quick removal shaft assembly and outboard heavy-duty bearing assemblies. Units are available in a choice of aluminum or stainless steel construction.

Typical applications include but are not limited to scalping to remove foreign particles, and deagglomeration to break down friable particles.
