Kimberly-Clark Professional has added two new products to its Jackson Safety brand hearing protection line — the H10 and H20 metal detectable earplugs for use in the food and pharmaceutical processing industries

Earplugs with embedded metal are used to ensure that earplugs or other forms of personal protective equipment (PPE) can be easily detected during food and pharmaceutical processing, company officials say.

Similar to the other Jackson Safety brand hearing protection products, the new metal detectable earplugs are designed to deliver both performance and comfort while improving compliance.

The H10 is a disposable foam earplug that comes in bullet shape for easy roll-down and insertion into the ear canal. In addition, the earplug features a soft, smooth exterior designed for comfort.

The H20 is a reusable earplug featuring a ridged stem designed for better grip. In addition, the washable earplug has three soft flanges that collapse to conform to the ear canal.

Both new earplugs are a blue color for compliance monitoring and increased visibility in food and pharmaceutical processing environments; individually packaged for hygienic purposes; available in universal sizes; and available with a cord.
